Description: This session provides University of Arizona faculty, research staff, and advanced graduate students with an introduction to research opportunities in international development. We will share what research topics are on the rise and in demand, USAID initiatives and earmarks, types of funds and research opportunities, types of partnership opportunities, USAID’s localization agenda, and opportunities beyond USAID, including foundations, USDA Foreign Agriculture Service, Millennium Challenge Corporation, World Bank, etc. Substantial time will be given to discussion and Q&A.
